What if you lost your home tomorrow?? What if you woke up tomorrow and it just didn't exist. Are you ready? Spiritually? Financially? This week has been one of those reminders we hate to have. Luckily, our family has been able to be reminded from afar. Lyal wasn't able to come home from work on Monday. My dad - the CDF firefighter - is on vacation and out of town. Jacob's school, Fall Festival, and city cleanup day(for community service hours) has been cancelled due to the horrible air quality. Nothing that has affected our lives to any degree. We had the experience of being here for the 2003 fires and are grateful that not as many lives have been lost so far. We are also grateful for the urging of our leaders both at church and in our goverment to be prepared. Thanks to all the firefighters!!
